ECME: European Conference on Molecular Electronics 2009 – University of Copenhagen

When and where

The ECME conference will be held from Wednesday to Saturday, September 9 - 12, 2009, in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the Scandic Copenhagen Hotel.


The conference will cover all areas related to organic and plastic electronics including chemistry, physics, biology, materials science, nanoscience, engineering and device fabrication and commercialization. Organic and plastic electronics is an area projected to grow into a $30 billion industry by 2015. Read the second announcement of the conference (pdf).


ECME-2009 will be hosted by Nano-Science Center , University of Copenhagen.


ECME-2009 will follow the successful ECME Conferences organized in Italy (Padua, 1992), Germany (Kloster Banz, 1994), Belgium (Leuven, 1996), Great-Britain (Cambridge, 1997), Sweden (Linköping, 1999), The Netherlands (Rolduc, 2001), France (Avignon, 2003), Italy (Bologna, 2005), and France (Metz, 2007). Over the years, ECME has become the premier European Conference in the field.
